Bruriah was by any definition a woman of extraordinary intelligence and ability in the second century C.E. Was she real, a myth or a composite of several women?

A light brunch will be served.

Jewish educator Phyllis Meyers will lead a teaching into the complexities and tragedies around the stories of Bruriah. Together we may decide, "Who was Bruriah and why is she the only woman scholar mentioned in the Talmud?" (The discussion will be in English.)

Suggested payment: JC3/CHESMA Members $150MXN, Non-Members $200MXN
