Agnes Olive, Book Singing

Agnes Olive invites you to attend a Book Signing and Sale of her newly released “Spirit of the Earth”, an artist’s retrospective. It represents in coloured photos and accompanying text her art of the past 40 years. The first part represents 20 years of Raku clay produced in Canada and the remainder her handmade paper-mixed media of natural materials in Pakistan, Ghana, West Africa and San Miguel de Allende.

She will be showing the art on a screen while reading stories of inspiration.

She says “It is difficult to describe my work in words. It has been inspired by the rituals of ancient cultures as a result of my travels to many remote corners of the earth including four months travelling throughout Indonesia exploring all the islands and inhaling the culture.
