Let's Make Queer Art for Peace

Camino de la Paz, together with Rotary Club SMA are holding an event for the International Day of Peace, September 21st at Parque Juarez, along with residing artists from this town. Colectivo 41 will do a special piece of Queer art to make visibility of our movement for that day, and you can participate, too! The piece will consist of a blank cloth intervened with color paint and markers with your doodles, sketches, poems and thoughs about being Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer or an ally nowadays, and positive messages for the people living 50 years from now in the future.

Any colorful paint materials and painting tools are welcome. This will also be an oportinity to meet and have a good time with our local LGBTIQ+ community in San Miguel de Allende, so make sure to wear colorful clothes for that day! Condoms and info will be distributed for free at the event.

Camino de la Paz y Club Rotario de SMA organizaran un evento para el Día Internacional de la Paz, este 21 de septiembre en el Parque Juárez, junto con artistas residentes de nuestra ciudad. Colectivo 41 hará una pieza especial de arte para hacer visibilidad sobre la población LGBT ese día, ¡Y tú también puedes participar! La pieza consistirá en un mantel en blanco intervenido con pinturas de colores y marcadores con sus dibujos, bocetos, poemas y pensamientos sobre qué significa ser Gay, Lesbiana, Bisexual, Trans o Aliadx de nuestro movimiento, y mensajes positivos para las personas LGBT que vivan 50 años en el futuro.

Cualquier material de pintura y herramientas son bienvenidos. Esto también será una oportunidad para conocer y convivir con nuestra comunidad LGBTIQ + local en San Miguel de Allende, así que asegúrense de usar ropa muy colorida para ese día! Condones e info serán distribuidos GRATIS en el evento.
