Rob Long was barely out of film school when he landed a job as one of the writers on the phenomenally successful TV sitcom, Cheers. With the demise of the show
Long faced the prospect: Is there life after Cheers? Conversations with my Agent follows Long through the grueling process of setting up a new series and getting it on the air: through development hell to the making of a pilot episode and then production of the show itself.
In the figure of his agent, Long has created a monster of salesmanship who is also a comic figure without parallel.

Tickets will be sold at the door at 6:45 each evening on a first come, first serve basis. All ticket holders must be present when the doors open at 7:00 or their seat may be resold. The play will begin at 7:30 or when the house is filled.
