Urban Sketchers SMA Field Trip

Join the Urban Sketchers SMA for a field trip to our local Olive Ranch y Restaurante, where we'll get a tour of the olive orchard and enjoy a lovely olive-oil infused lunch on the roof of their farmhouse.

We'll meet at 9:45am at the parking lot of Liverpool, and at 10:00am you can either jump in the Finca Ranch Truck, or decide who in our group can drive. Anyone who chooses to drive will follow the Finca Ranch Truck for the short drive to their ranch, where we'll enjoy and sketch for the day.

We'll begin with a tour of their facilites and then to the terreza where we will sketch as we taste olive oils and have our light yet delicious lunch prepared by the girls at the rancho.

The price is $400 pesos plus transportation (if you drive with someone, please offer gas money). $400 pesos is for the tour, lunch and a glass of wine, please don't forget to tip the ladies who will be attending to us. (You can BYOB if you like, and also buy more wine, etc. at their on-site tienda.) If anyone has special dietary needs, please let me know when you RSVP. Plan on giving the money for the tour/lunch to Meagan, so we can have one point person with the ranch.

Rain or shine, this is our day for the tour; if it rains we can remain in their tienda for the tour and have lunch in their kitchens.

We'll leave the ranch about 3:00pm and return to the Liverpool parking lot, getting you home about 4pm. Look forward to seeing you at our July USk Field Trip!
