Hand-painted Fabric Necklaces - workshop

About the workshop:

We will paint pieces of cotton cloth with fabric paints in washes, geometric patterns or any other design. When the cloth is dry it will be ironed, then cut in small rectangles, sewn together and stuffed with bunting. Then the cushion beads will be strung into a lightweight necklace. Most of the sewing will be done by machine. The class will be held in a countryside atmosphere on a veranda, away from the noise and bustle of the city. A cool beverage will be provided alongside a light snack.
