Hello, San Miguel theatre goers! You're invited to a very special presentation to celebrate the first anniversary of Out of The Blue's World Premiere!
Last year, when award-winning Out of The Blue premiered in San Miguel, Eli Hans – the creator and performer of this tour de force new musical, and Joseph Bennett, his husband and co-star, had no idea how audiences would respond to this unique theatrical experience. It's an uplifting, mostly one-man show about Eli's cancer healing-journey; learning to make peace with his past as a gay kid on a quest for love. And, a musical, to boot! Would anybody even show up?
Well, we're thrilled to say that international audiences in Mexico, the U.S. and even in the Ukraine have loved the sold-out shows, with deeply moving standing ovations, rave reviews, engaging talkbacks, multiple nominations by Broadway World Los Angeles, winning the prestigious Encore Producer's Award at The Hollywood Fringe Festival.
Infused with humor and original music, Out of the Blue – A Miraculous Musical is a heart-warming and inspiring true story of hope and resilience in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds. Playing nearly 25 characters, Eli takes the audience on an intimate ride filled with love, laughter, heartache and miracles in this bite-size, mini-Broadway show.
