Ever wonder what this means? It is a positive and dramatic exclamation in our local Mexican culture, and for good reason. It tells the world of your amazement and appreciation. When you see something fabulous and unusual, say “Que Barbara!”
St Barbara’s Day is December 4th. In honor of the day, Barbara Poole, hostess at Casa de la Noche, invites all the Barbaras of San Miguel de Allende to celebrate at this fun historic former bordello. Come and celebrate being Barbara, Barb, Barbie or any other name you use for Barbara.
This is a party just for Barbaras. We will gather in the outdoor courtyard and then move to the White Lantern Movie Lounge to watch our “Barbie” movie! We will provide popcorn and Barbara Poole will provide her famous ‘barbaritas’ – even better than margaritas! Please feel free to bring your favorite botanas to share.
Prepare to celebrate ‘being Barbara’ on Monday December 4 at 5:30 pm. Come meet a lot of us, no name tags needed.
