Fat Bastard Art Walk to support Niñas Sabias/Wise Girls

North Colonia San Antonio – Meet at the entrance to the Barrio de la Aldea close to the Cafe Monet.

As most people know, we retired the Fat Bastard Art Walks at the beginning of February. There were many reasons but a big part was that The Goddess and I wanted more time to pursue other interests. But an organization has come along the we, along with Isabel and several muralists want to support. Wise Girls – SMA (Niñas Sabias) supports the menstrual health of girls and women in the area. There is a stigma to this very natural event and it has had hard consequences for the young women here. Niñas Sabias aims to educate and support girls to allow them more opportunities.

Thus, FOR A LIMITED TIME and in A LIMITED MANNER we are doing a series walks through San Antonio to support this worthwhile group.

We are asking for a suggested donation of 200 pesos each. 2/3s of these donations will go directly to representatives of Niña’s Sabias and the other 1/3 will go to support the artists. I hope you can join us Wednesday, the 15th, at 9:00am to help support this needed idea.

We’ll meet at the entrance to Barrio de la Aldea next to Cafe Monet.

We will be joined by Accredited Tour Guide Isabel Mor for a grander experience.
There is much new art is San Antonio that this Colonia has been come the mural capital of San Miguel. We are going to enjoy to beauty and support a great cause in this amazing city so many of us call home. At the same time, we are going to support a wonderful cause.

Note: There will be at least other other walks in the succeeding weeks. Not everyone needs to come on this one.
