Jewish Influence on American Popular Music 1880 – 2000 is a series of multimedia presentations given by Allan Cheskes and the Beth Shalom Synagogue of Toronto, Canada. These presentations give a fascinating history of Jews in the United States, music in the United States as well as the Jewish influence on American popular music.

We will be showing recordings of past presentations on Tuesday afternoons at 3:00 central time. The presentations last about an hour and a half. There is no charge for these presentations.

Please note, the original broadcasts of these presentations averaged well over 100 computer participants (I can only hope that we are as successful), but we can only allow 100 computers to access each presentation at one time. If we receive more than 100 requests, we will create a waiting list in the order that the requests were received. Please let CHESMA know if you cannot attend a presentation that you registered for so that your place can be given to somebody else if necessary.
