Paprika will host my live interview show called, “Behind the Scene: With Lady Zen and Keith Tynes.” This is not a full-length performance as much as a live talk show. Get to know Keith in a way that you won’t get from just going to a show. Limited seating to 25 people. Accompanied by Musical Director Papacho Sirdey-Desgagnés.
Keith Tynes will sing a few songs to promote his full-length show the following night.

Keith Tynes BIO:
As you may know, Keith was a member of the historic group The Platters, producers of major and unforgettable hits like Only You and Great Pretender.
This great musical talent is from Miami and has performed on some of the world’s most important stages and theatres like the New York Radio City Music Hall and the Queen Alexandra House in London. He also sang jazz on tracks recorded with The Chicago New World Symphony. With The Platters, he toured all around Europe and the US.

Keith is a vocal master who understands that music is used to express spirituality and emotions. His powerful presence and charisma on stage are the result of his extensive career and experience in the music industry. Keith is the authentic and legendary voice of soul, Motown, r&b and pop.

Who is Lady Zen?
Alzenira Quezada ( Lady Zen) is an internationally known lyric fusion poet, who is performing, composing, teaching, and producing around the world. At age 18, awarded a Fulbright Scholarship in Opera Performance training as a Mezzo-Soprano. They also won a Community Service/Social Justice award through the University of Southern Maine. In 2014 received an MFA in creative writing. Alzenira teaches courses in vocal performance, creative writing, and poetry–recently published in About Place Journal and Measure for Measure: An Anthology of Poetic Meters, Feckless Cunt: A New Feminist Anthology. Lady Zen travels extensively and currently lives between Portland, Maine; San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, and Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico. Performing at The Palm Cabaret as a featured artist. Also while in Mexico, Mr. Lady is the creative force behind Plata Performance Nightclub. Featured on nationally known platforms such as the 2014/16 TEDx series, The Corner: MOTH Maine Storytellers, and listed third on the 100 Most Stylish Butches by DapperQ Magazine. She appeared alongside actress Glen Close for the Maine Center for Creativity Industries Awards. Their work as a creative director in photography was featured at the Bi-Annual Butch Voices Conference. Her original compositions have been commissioned by The Holocaust Museum in DC, Art Not Hate, The Institute for Civic Leadership, Creative Portland, and the Maine Chapter of the NAACP. In 2019, They released a radio drama podcast, Flies in the Jar, and star in the short Mexican/American/ European film called Deep Drag. In their spare time, they volunteer for Trans Youth camps and other Health organizations that provide training to understand the needs of trans-identified individuals. Currently, they are producing a one-person show for Theater First with director Jon Tracy; What’s in a Name is set for virtual release in April 2021. During the pandemic, they were chosen as a librettist of one of the first non-binary charactered opera, finishing a play called, Queen of the Zeedijk. Zen is a featured performer for The San Miguel Writers Conference and currently a poetry reader for The Maine Review Literary Journal and is actively performing and producing creative work, teaching, organizing archives, and spending as much time as possible gardening, cooking, and arguing with a Tortie Cat who is well-loved and has been a great companion for 4 years.
