Gustavo Bernal Varela, originally from Tlalpujahua, produces high temperature clay pottery, completely handmade.

He studied at the ceramic and porcelain school of the MOA group with Japanese teachers.
He has been working on these beautiful and unique works of art for more than 15 years. Gustavo tells us, just as the Spaniards have their Talavera, the French their Faltence, the Japanese their fine Porcelain, in Mexico, as he describes his art in ceramics, it is “ACA”, from inside, from the heart, from our roots, from village. Where the four elements are combined: earth, air, water and fire. Using the rust technique in gobe (natural earth with dyes).

This craftsman also has a workshop workshop "Aca Cerámica".

Gustavo Bernal Varela originario de Tlalpujahua, elabora cerámica en barro de alta temperatura, completamente artesanal.

Realizó sus estudios en la escuela de cerámica y porcelana del grupo MOA con maestros japoneses.
Lleva más de 15 años en la elaboración de estas hermosas y únicas obras de arte. Gustavo nos dice, así como los Españoles tienen su Talavera, los Franceses su Faltence, los Japoneses su Porcelana fina, en México, como él describe su arte en cerámica, es “ACA”, de adentro, del corazón, de nuestras raíces, del pueblo. Donde se conjugan los cuatro elementos: tierra, aire, agua y fuego. Usando la técnica óxido en gobe (tierra natural con colorantes).

Este artesano cuanta también con una escuela taller “Aca Cerámica”.
