OPENING COCKTAIL AND PRESENTATION OF THE AURORA COLLECTIVE On September 22

CHICHIMECA ART GALLERY inaugurates a new exhibition of the "COLECTIVO AURORA", and the presentation of its members, artists driving the visual arts, recognized in Guanajuato and different parts of the Mexican Republic; Like Mariana Vega, plastic artist, curator, who has devoted a large part of her life to the production and promotion of local and national contemporary art. Founder of the "Photoshoot" project and executive partner of the "Chichimeca Art Gallery" project. Her main interest is the creation of links between artists, producers and society.Her work is a mixture of photographic techniques, painting and mix media that give life to different concepts and symbols.
Originally from Monterrey Nuevo León, with a trajectory of 9 years in the middle, Juan Bravo, a plastic artist currently residing in San Miguel de Allende, decided to bet on this city for its artistic rise. Each controversial work is carefully mixed with common objects, always for a reason: to talk about their experiences, their pains, loves and losses, the way they perceive the world and the energy that surrounds it. Of the material that can not be seen or touched. For Juan, each piece is a catharsis, an exorcism and quoting his words: "a teaspoon of relief that will cure it inside." His work has been exhibited around the Mexican Republic in various cultural spaces such as CDMX, Guadalajara, Puebla , Nuevo León, and others.

Pau Lira, is another of the members of the collective, a self-taught artist proudly Sanmiguelense, who began dabbling in oil and acrylic painting techniques, however he could find his voice through clay and watercolor. His work has as a theme to make tangible the manifestation of emotions in the body. Incorporating local craftsmanship achieves a Mexican style with vibrant colors and typical elements of culture.

For Jorge Cornejo, a native of the city of Saltillo, Coahuila, the visual arts have changed his way of seeing life, as a acomunication barchelor and photographer dedicated to conceptual documentation has started his career in visual arts, with exhibitions in various places in the city such as : Casa Europa, EC Bell OpenStudio and Chichimeca Art Galley. His works achieve an intimate connection with the viewer, wrapping them in each context and express the way they capture what they see with their hearts, from their perspective, their concepts shape their emotions.

Viviana Marin was born in Mexico city of CDMX, he completed her bachelor's degree in plastic arts at the Allende Institute and later a year of painting specialization at the Centro Cultural El nigromante with the teacher Antonio Chaurand, following the school of the teacher Ignacio Maldonado, Marin seeks to transgress at every moment the limits, motives and supports of the painting., Dedicated to sculpture, engraving and painting with expressionist style, by the influence of Froyd and Bacon. He has participated in exhibitions in Mexico City, Celaya and Toluca.

Osvanni De la Rosa, born in Cuernavaca Morelos and Sanmiguelense de Corazon, painter, engraver and draftsman who for five years has fused this passion with fashion design looking to maintain a balance between its origins and the use of technology, aware of the importance of traditional crafts in their designs incorporates the work of excellent tailors and dressmakers finalizing them with the hand painted graphic design. Each garment inspired by Mexican history and culture results in original, unique and exclusive garments, thus achieving "Mexican art to look fashionable".

Éste 22 de septiembre, CHICHIMECA ART GALLERY inaugura una nueva exposición del “COLECTIVO AURORA”, y la presentación de sus integrantes, artistas impulsores de las artes visuales, reconocidos en Guanajuato y diferentes partes de la República Mexicana; Como Mariana Vega, artista plástico, curador, que ha dedicado gran parte de su vida a la producción y fomento del arte contemporáneo local y nacional. Fundadora del proyecto “Photoshoot” y “Chichimeca Art Gallery”. Su principal interés es la creación de vínculos entre artistas, productores y la sociedad en general. Su Obra es una mezcla de tecnicas fotograficas, pintura y mix media que dan vida a diferentes conceptos y simbolos .

Su obra ha sido expuesta al rededor de la república mexicana en diversos espacios culturales como CDMX, Guadalajara, Puebla, Nuevo León, entre otros.
Pau Lira, será otra de las integrantes del colectivo, una artista autodidacta orgullosamente Sanmiguelense, quien comenzó incursionando en técnicas de pintura al óleo y acrílico, sin embargo pudo encontrar su voz a través de la arcilla y la acuarela. Su obra tiene como tema volver tangible la manifestación de las emociones en el cuerpo. Incorporando artesanía local logra un estilo mexicano con colores vibrantes y elementos típicos de la cultura.

Comenzar una formación por gusto y curiosidad a la edad de ocho años y posteriormente aprender la técnica al óleo a la edad de 15 años, de manera autodidacta es sin duda un gran amor por el arte, José Osorio, radicando igualmente en ésta ciudad, su trayectoria le ha llevado a exponer en diversas ciudades de la república y el mundo desde Puebla, Taxcala, Ciudad de México, Querétaro, entre otras, hasta Francia y España, estará presente como parte de éste colectivo. “Como artista, quiero crear un lenguaje y un estilo que pueda desafiar y crear un diálogo con el espectador, transmitiendo no solo las nociones de tiempo y espacio, si no, las características humanas con sus virtudes y cualidades como inspiración para mi trabajo” nos cita éste artista.
Originario de La ciudad de CDMX Viviana Marin, realizo la licenciatura en artes plñasticas en el instituto Allende y posteriormente un año de especializacion en pintura en el Centro cultural el nigromante con el maestro Antonio Chaurand, siguiendo la escuela del maestro Ignacio Maldonado, Marin busca transgredir a cada momento los limites , motivos y soportes de la pintura., Dedicado a la escultura, grabado y pintura con estilo expresionista, por la influencia de Froyd y Bacon. Ha participado en exposiciones en la Ciudad de Mexico, Celaya y Toluca.

Cada prenda inspirada en la historia y cultura Mexicana da como resultado prendas originales, unicas y exclusivas logrando asi que “el arte mexicano se vista a la moda”.
Sin duda, una exposición singular en la que podrás ver desde diseños de vestidos únicos elaborados a mano, fotografía documental, pintura con técnicas mixtas, hasta peculiares esculturas realizadas con barro o intervenciones de objetos como focos y muñecas, según el justo entender y la concepción artística de cada participante del proyecto, COLECTIVO AURORA ofrece una nueva opción de arte conceptual y contemporáneo en ésta mágica ciudad que cada día ofrece nuevas interacciones con artistas y coleccionistas y/o amantes del arte.
La cita es el próximo sábado en punto de las seis de la tarde, en Chichimeca Art Gallery en Calzada de la Aurora número 13 B en el centro de la ciudad.
