La Montaña Fracturada - opening

Post46 will be inaugurating its second exhibition "La Montaña Fracturada" on Friday, October 26th.The show features 10 large format acrylic paintings by prolific Mexican painter Teresa Aguilar Suro (1931-2017), born in Guadalajara, Jalisco. In 1950 Aguilar began studying fine arts at the (UNAM) National Autonomous University in Mexico City, and she continued studies in psychology and later fine art print making at Bellas Artes (INBA) in San Miguel de Allende. Her body of work, a product of four decades of painting, has been exhibited in dozens of private galleries and public venues throughout Mexico and the United States. She has also participated in over 80 collective exhibitions. Aguilar was a longtime member of the Mexican National Watercolor Society.
