Wild Mushroom Foraging Experience & Feast

Join us for our magical Sunday funday outdoor experiences. Connect with nature, smell the earth, hike mountains and share special moments with others.
We will be spending the day in the lush forested ecological reserve of the Sierra Santa Rosa, about 1 1/2 hours away, surrounded by rolling hills, forests, lakes and rivers.

It’s in this epic setting that renowned mushroom forager Arif Towns from Simbiosis, holistic chef Alicia Rutherford and Kayaks SMA join forces to take curious mushroom foraging adventurers on an epicurean journey to unravel the rather marvellous mysteries of our local fungi.

After an introduction to wild foraging and our shroom hunt, we'll take in delicious flavors and gather our ingredients, set up our picnic next to the water, build a fire and prepare a feast with our foraged ingredients over botanical drinks a refreshing sangria.

- Full gourmet picnic style with all organic, seasonal and local ingredients, with mostly vegan & some Canada de la Virgen meat options. Menu is based on gut-healing foods, including fermented probiotic rich beverages, wild and medicinal edibles. All free from gluten, dairy and sugar of course.
- Refreshing sangria made with seasonal fruits from our favorite local organic + biodynamic winemaker.
- Arif and Alicia grilling up wild mushroom specialities from our hike.
- A beautiful setting on the lake with use of kayaks.

HOW:
We will leave from Mercado SANO at 8am sharp in caravan style. Drive in your own car or ride share with someone. If you don't have a ride let us know and we will arrange it.

WHAT TO BRING:
Good hiking boots, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, water bottle and a change of clothes if you plan on getting wet kayaking. You're also welcome to bring your own wine if you like...

PRICE:
$1800 pesos per person.
You may purchase your tickets at Blend Boutique juice bar or Simbiosis in the Mercado SANO, with at least a 50% deposit to reserve your spot.
