“TUXEN” Living without Limits

The Patricia Rincon Dance Collective Artistic Director Patricia Rincon and Director Christian Baumgartner will co-direct the premiere of “TUXEN: Living without Limits" on November 21 and 22, 2018, with two performances at 7 P.M. held at the Angela Peralta Theatre, San Miguel de Allende. Tickets are 100, 150 and 200 pesos.

“TUXEN: Living without Limits" is a Dance - Circus - Theatre production choreographed and under the artistic direction of Patricia Rincon, Distinguished Professor of Dance from the University of California San Diego, and written and co-directed by professional actor, circus performer and mover, Christian Baumgartner. The performance centers around the human experience – its frailties, humor and pathos.
The work creates an atmosphere of tension and fantasy through the spectacle of dance, circus and theatre, conveying the story of one person’s journey carried to the edge of human emotions through unusual and radical situations -- showing and reaffirming by the end, love's ability to rescue us from life’s dangers. A dizzying, touching and surprising spectacle, which seeks to make the public feel immersed in the journey and become a part of it, allowing the artists and the audiences to envision new perspectives in our cultural identity.
This dynamic production will consist of a choreographed journey utilizing dance performance and circus to share this unique story that takes the audience on a wild ride that is both humorous and touching, with a musical collage that ranges from David Bowie to Rage Against the Machine.
Imaginative scenic design and costume design that will offer wonderful eye candy and visual and acoustic pleasure.

“TUXEN: Living without Limits" will feature significant local and international artists including Artistic Director Patricia Rincon; Co-Director, Actor, Circus Christian Baumgartner and Professional Dancers Tara Casone, Arturo Cano and more artists.
All artists involved in this unique project are crossing boundaries in their work and blurring the lines between art forms with quality and a daring inventiveness.
A cultural landscape of fresh, multi-dimensional dance-circus-theatre to highlight new cultural identities in our popular culture.

The Patricia Rincon Dance Collective is a cross-border, not-for-profit organization. “Tuxen” Vivir sin Limites

La directora artística Patricia Rincón de Dance Collective y el director Christian Baumgartner dirigirán el estreno de “Tuxen: Vivir sin Límites” que se presentará en dos funciones los días 21 y 22 de noviembre 2018, a las 7 pm en el Teatro Ángela Peralta (mesones 82) en San Miguel Allende.
Los boletos están disponibles en la taquilla del teatro en pre-venta y día del evento Luneta 200, Palco 150 y Galería 100 pesos.

“TUXEN: Vivir sin limites” es una producción de danza, circo y teatro, coreografiada y bajo la dirección de Patricia Rincón, distinguida profesora de danza de la Universidad de California San Diego, y escrita y co-dirigida por el actor profesional, acróbata, Christian Baumgartner.
El performance esta basado en la experiencia humana: sus fragilidades, humor y el padecimiento existencial.
A través de la danza, el circo y el teatro este espectáculo crea una atmosfera de tensión y fantasía, transmitiendo la historia del viaje de una persona al borde de las emociones humanas a través de situaciones radicales e inusuales, mostrando y reafirmando al final, la capacidad del amor para rescatarnos de los peligros de la vida.
Un espectáculo conmovedor y sorprendente, que busca que el publico se sienta inmerso en este viaje y se convierta en parte de él, permitiendo a los artistas y al publico visualizar nuevas perspectivas en nuestra identidad cultural.

Esta producción dinámica consistirá en un viaje coreografiado que utiliza el espectáculo de danza y el circo para compartir esta historia única, que lleva al publico a un viaje atrevido, divertido y conmovedor, además acompañado de un collage musical que abarca desde David Bowie hasta Rage Against the Machine.

Un diseño escénico imaginativo y un vestuario que serán parte de este placer visual y acústico que se presenta este otoño en San Miguel Allende.

“Tuxen: Vivir al limite” Contara con importantes artistas locales e internacionales, entre ellos, la directora artística Patricia Rincón, el co-director y actor Christian Baumgartner ,la bailarina profesional Tara Casone, el bailarín Arturo Cano y otros colaboradores desde la producción, el diseño y la ejecución escénica quienes se integran a este proyecto.
Todos los artistas involucrados en este proyecto están cruzando fronteras en su trabajo y difuminando las líneas entre las formas de arte con calidad y una inventiva audaz.
Un paisaje cultural de danza-circo-teatro de múltiples dimensiones para resaltar las nuevas identidades culturales en nuestra cultura popular.
