The Urban Fix, Literary Sala - book

The well-known American academician and author Doug Kelbaugh will give a slide lecture at Bellas Artes on Monday, April 22 on his new book THE URBAN FIX: Resilient Cities in the War against Climate Change, Heat Islands and Overpopulation. He will sign copies after the 6 pm lecture, which will be on the second floor Sala next to the Auditorium The highly-illustrated lecture and the book outline the urgent challenges that our civilization faces as the earth´s climate heats up, causing many physical, social, political and cultural problems and opportunities, especially in cities where most of the world population now resides. Dean/Professor Kelbaugh offers a bold vision for 21st century green investment to create healthy, climate-smart, and resilient communities through better design and planning, as well as public policy.
