You read about it almost every day on the Civil List. Another break-in, another home invasion or carjacking. With the influx of population, the reality is that our crime problem is growing. Now, imagine a future where residents of the community could alert and respond to any emergency with the touch of a button on your smartphone. No need to imagine. The future is right here, right now in San Miguel de Allende.

Join the Mid-day Rotary Club of San Miguel on Tuesday, July 17th for a presentation on cutting-edge technology that addresses the every growing problem of insecurity that is plaguing our city. You'll meet the team of TEEM, an emergency response system that empowers individuals and communities with state-of-the-art technology to deal with any emergency.

TEEM founders Benigno Sierra Gonzalez and Sergio Martell Arteaga created TEEM to address the security issues in San Miguel de Allende actively. This endeavor began three years ago and what has emerged is a robust and reliable security platform that will have a positive impact on our safety and peace of mind.

Our speaker, Benigno Sierra Gonzalez attended American, Canadian and French schools in Mexico City. He studied business administration at "Academie de Commerce International" in Paris, France. His business career took him to Scotland, Wales, England, Mexico, the USA, and France. Gonzalez came to San Miguel de Allende in 2009, looking for a safe environment after having experienced an explosion of insecurity and corruption on The Mayan Riviera where he owned restaurants.
