Meet and greet the physicians and the staff at UNIMED

Be Well San Miguel is inviting its members and the larger community to
an event at La Casona on the 19th of April from 5 to 6:30 PM.

Medical Director Dr. Emilio Ramirez of UNIMED Hospital will give a talk
on the local capacity for meeting new international standards for
management of emergency cardiac and stroke symptoms in San Miguel
de Allende.

And CEO Julio Cabrajal will give a presentation on new and upcoming
plans for expansion of the facility. There will be an opportunity to meet
the newest staff of UNIMED and Be Well and to ask questions. UNIMED
staff is working hard to respond to community demand and needs and
would like to welcome your questions and concerns.

Unimed is the newest hospital in San Miguel. It focuses on emergency
and critical care medicine and has state of the art ground ambulances
as well as a surgical suite and in-patient care team of ER physicians
who are trained in stroke, heart attack, GI bleeding, trauma (all varieties

Unimed offers two examination rooms, a surgical suite, one critical care
and/or trauma shock unit and a room for minor emergencies. It also has
eight new, fully equipped in-patient rooms for hospital care, including
bedside monitors and comfortable furniture for patients and family
members, for a compassionate and tranquil healing environment. In
addition, they offer a bilingual staff, urgent care services, telemedicine, travel medicine, internal medicine and comprehensive lab and imaging services.
