History Walking Tours, Beyond San Miguel's Centro - tour

Bordering San Miguel’s Centro are barrios with rich and vibrant histories.

For the first time, four unique history walking tours will explore four of these barrios revealing many exciting details of San Miguel’s past.

Top history walking tour guides Jesus Ibarra, Arturo Morales and Kathleen Bennett with lead these 1.5 hour walks.

All walks are on Thursday afternoons, 3-4.30 p.m. Limited to 25 persons. Tickets available from Irieno at the Biblioteca.

200 pesos per tour, 750 pesos four tours. ALL monies donated to our wonderful Biblioteca! Don’t delay.

January 25: Sites along the Camino Real to Valle de Maiz

February 1: San Juan de Dios Church/Barrio to Former Bordello

February 8: Mexiquito Boys’ Home, Mojica Museum, to Fabrica Aurora

February 15: Barrio Chorro’s sites, Park Juarez, Villa Santa Monica

1.5 hours of actual walking required. You will be given meeting place for each walk when purchasing tickets at the Biblioteca.
