New Advances in Reversing Facial Sun Damage and Wrinkled - talk

New Advances in Reversing Facial Sun Damage and Wrinkled SkinBy Adam J. Scheiner, M.D. June 27th at 5p.m Teatro Santa Ana Reloj 50-A Entrance is free

Did you seek a tan in your younger days only to be left with wrinkled and sun-damaged skin in your later years? Do you think you’re stuck with that damage?
Dr Adam Scheiner, a world-renowned expert in laser eyelid and facial plastic surgery, will be coming to San Miguel on June 27th to the Santa Ana Theater in La Biblioteca, where he will be discussing his proprietary RESET® treatment for sun-damaged skin, wrinkles and pre-cancerous skin lesions.

This treatment will be exceptionally welcome for anyone who has achieved a so-called “healthy” tan outside or used a tanning bed, only to later in life witness the evidence of damage in the form of brown spots, facial lines and wrinkles. What makes RESET® particularly intriguing for patients is Dr. Scheiner’s discovery that pre-cancers above and below the skin surface, and some active skin cancers, can be addressed by treating the entire face rather than focusing on individual spots. This improves both the health and the appearance of facial skin.

“Many people don’t realize how dramatically Ultraviolent (UV) rays negatively impact the collagen and elastic fibers in our skin, as well as damaging the DNA in our skin cells,” says Dr. Scheiner. “Once we start to notice its effects, it’s too late. Thankfully, RESET® for Sun Damage allows you to reset any cumulative sun damage to reveal younger, tighter, healthier skin.”

Dr. Scheiner has been a featured health expert on The Dr. Oz Show, The Doctors TV Show and The Howard Stern Show, as well as in The New York Post and The Boston Herald and on local and national affiliates of Fox, CBS, ABC and NBC.

Dr. Scheiner received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania and completed his internship at St. Barnabas Medical Center. He completed his Ophthalmology residency at the University of Pennsylvania’s Scheie Eye Institute. Dr. Scheiner then continued his studies in an Oculoplastic and Laser Facial Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship with Dr. Sterling Baker, the pioneer of laser eyelid surgery.

Dr. Scheiner will give a presentation on his work and various techniques of treating sun-damaged skin in the Santa Ana Theater in La Biblioteca on June 27th at 5p.m. There will be a Q&A after the presentation. Entrance is free. You can find out more about Dr. Scheiner and his work at http://www.adamscheinermd.com/about.
