Samantha Guevara - concert

Guanajuato Gilguero (goldfinch) has been a singer since the age of six. Her name is Samantha Guevara.
She is passionate about opera and the music she has enjoyed since she was very young and participated in choirs at her college, church, and professional choruses. She has stood out for her participation. She has found public favor taste. Her voice excites them and makes the most sensitive fibers vibrate with her performances. Those who hear it say that it is like truly hearing an angel.

She is accompanied by Maestro Carlos de Anda, an excellent pianist and composer. Both have had outstanding performances in operas such as Amahl and the Night Visitors by Gian Carlo Menotti, Hansel and Gretel by Engelbert Humperdinck, and Dido and Aeneas by Henry Purcel.

Her interpretations with the Children and Youth Orchestra of the School of Music of the University of Guanajuato have been successful and recognized by a select audience and applauded.
Today they form a great repertoire, presenting a great recital with Italian music and Mexican music for concerts that have been worthy of mention and recognition. Authors like Grever, M. Ponce, Velázquez, and others make up this magnificent repertoire.

We will have the great opportunity to enjoy our interpretations of classical music in San Miguel Allende at the Teatro Ángela Peralta on October 13 at 7:30pm. The ticket office is open three weeks before the performance.
