Experience the brilliance of Baroque music with a captivating program featuring works by Vivaldi, Corelli, and Handel, brought to life by the virtuosity of Rubén Barrera on piano and Adrián Barrera on violin.

Adrián Barrera Ramos

He began his studies at the age of 9 with maestro Raúl Pérez y Bernal, and with his uncle Roberto Ramos. He completed his high school and bachelor’s degree in Instrumentalism with a specialty in violin at the Conservatory of Music and Arts of Celaya, with Martín Valdeschack as his teacher. He graduated from Colorado State University, Colorado, USA with a master’s degree in “Performance” with Ron Francois and has been concertmaster of the National Children’s Symphony Orchestra of Mexico, the Silvestre Revueltas Youth Symphony Orchestra and the CSU Symphony Orchestra. Professionally, he has been a member of the Orquesta Sinfónica de la Universidad de Guanajuato and the Orquesta Filarmónica del estado de Jalisco.

Rubén Barrera Ramos

At the age of 10 he began his musical studies at the Conservatory of Music and Arts of Celaya where he studied the Bachelor of Music and the Bachelor of Piano under the tutelage of the distinguished pianist and composer Marta García Renart. Winner of 2nd place in the First and Second State Piano Competition organized by the School of Music of the University of Guanajuato, as well as winner of 2nd place in his category in the competition organized by the EPTA (European Piano Teachers Association) in its 4th Rassegna Musicale “I Giovani e l’Arte”, held in Rome, Italy; he also obtained a diploma of merit in the competition Premio Internazionale di Musica “Suoni nel Pollino – Gran Premio della Calabria”, held in Cosenza, Italy.

Adrián Barrera Ramos

Comenzó sus estudios a la edad de 9 años con el maestro Raúl Pérez y Bernal, y con su tío Roberto Ramos. Realizó su bachillerato y licenciatura en Instrumentismo con especialidad en violín en el Conservatorio de Música y Artes de Celaya, teniendo como maestro a Martín Valdeschack. Se gradúa de Colorado State University, Colorado, USA de la maestría en «Performance» con el maestro Ron Francois. Ha sido concertino de La Orquesta Sinfónica Infantil Nacional de México, la orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil Silvestre Revueltas y CSU Symphony Orchestra. Profesionalmente ha formado parte de la Orquesta Sinfónica de la Universidad de Guanajuato y de la Orquesta Filarmónica del estado de Jalisco.

Rubén Barrera Ramos

A la edad de 10 años inicia sus estudios musicales en el Conservatorio de Música y Artes de Celaya donde cursó el Bachillerato Musical y la Licenciatura en Piano bajo la tutela de la insigne pianista y compositora Marta García Renart. Ganador del 2° lugar del Primer y Segundo Concurso Estatal de Piano organizado por la Escuela de Música de la Universidad de Guanajuato, así como ganador del 2° lugar de su categoría en el concurso organizado por la EPTA (European Piano Teachers Association) en su 4a Rassegna Musicale «I Giovani e l’Arte”, realizado en Roma, Italia; también obtiene un diploma al mérito en el concurso Premio Internazionale di Musica «Suoni nel Pollino – Gran Premio della Calabria», efectuado en Cosenza, Italia.
