The cavalcade of horsemen makes the traditional entry to San Miguel de Allende. As the movement of conspirators did more than 200 years ago, the traditional parade makes its entrance to San Miguel de Allende to begin the celebration.
In the style of 1810, when Ignacio Pérez traveled from Querétaro to San Miguel el Grande to warn that the conspiracy had been discovered, the Cavalcade of the Conspirators of 1810 was received. The municipal president receives this contingent with more than 100 horsemen. These were headed by its president Óscar Eduardo Garduño Alcocer. He was accompanied by the former governor of Querétaro, José Calzada Rovirosa, and Carlos Herrerías, representing the Querétaro governor Mauricio Kuri González. His brother Ernesto Kuri González was also there.
Men and women on horseback: “Welcome to a municipality that changed its name from Saint Michael el Grande to to San Miguel de Allende. Being conspirators means following a tradition. Today we are on the balconies of the first municipality in Mexico. Today we are in the building where Independence took its course. Where a brave soldier, the first soldier of the country, Generalissimo Allende, who was a horseman like all of you, gave direction to this cause.”
Generalissimo Allende took an oath to the first councilors of free Mexico – that’s what being a conspirator is about. Good luck on your journey, take this great message to Dolores Hidalgo, may everyone arrive safely and remember that here you have a municipality and a Municipal President who is a friend,” Trejo Pureco 2022.

La cabalgata de jinetes hace la tradicional entrada a San Miguel de Allende. Como lo hizo el movimiento de conspiradores hace más de 200 años, la tradicional cabalgata hace su entrada a San Miguel de Allende para dar inicio a la celebración.
Al estilo de 1810, cuando Ignacio Pérez viajó de Querétaro a San Miguel el Grande para avisar que la conspiración había sido descubierta, se recibe a la Cabalgata de los Conspiradores de 1810. El presidente municipal recibe a este contingente con más de 100 jinetes. Estos eran encabezados por su presidente Óscar Eduardo Garduño Alcocer. Lo acompañaron el ex gobernador de Querétaro, José Calzada Rovirosa, y Carlos Herrerías, en representación del gobernador queretano Mauricio Kuri González. También estuvo su hermano Ernesto Kuri González.
Hombres y mujeres a caballo: «Bienvenidos a un municipio que cambió su nombre de San Miguel el Grande a San Miguel de Allende. Ser conspiradores significa seguir una tradición. Hoy estamos en los balcones del primer municipio de México. Hoy estamos en el edificio donde la Independencia tomó su rumbo. Donde un soldado valiente, el primer soldado de la patria, el Generalísimo Allende, que fue jinete como todos ustedes, dio rumbo a esta causa».
El Generalísimo Allende les tomó juramento a los primeros ediles del México libre, de eso se trata ser conspirador. Suerte en su viaje, lleven este gran mensaje a Dolores Hidalgo, que todos lleguen bien y recuerden que aquí tienen un municipio y un Presidente Municipal amigo», Trejo Pureco 2022.
