Camille Claudel - theater

Teatro Santa Ana
$300

24 years apart does not prevent them from falling in love and giving life to a passionate relationship that would last several years and see its end with a life of spite.

At a time when few women had the opportunity to study, Camille Claudel arrived in the city of Paris to enter the Académie Colarussi to study sculpture.

Where, without knowing it, she would find love when she coincided with the famous sculptor Auguste Rodin who was captivated by her talent.

But love is full of cracks and spite will last a lifetime.

Work set in 1883, based on the letters that Camille wrote in the last 30 years of her life, never to be delivered.

Gaël Le Cornec creates this work by mixing historical and fictional moments, as a tribute to Claudel.
