We are staging the second annual The Music of Languages program on March 21st, 5:00 pm at Casa El Nigromante, Umarán #38, and you're invited! Like last year, there will be poetry readings in several languages, followed by Spanish and English translations. We will again be sharing digitally the full collection of passages read after the event. There will be an opportunity to stretch your legs and socialize during intermission.
This year, however, we've made a few changes that we think you'll appreciate. The sound system and seating are being upgraded for your comfort and we will be providing complimentary refreshments and a musical interlude at the start and during intermission as well.
In these unsettling times, this is our attempt to encourage mutual respect and understanding among people from diverse cultures, through communications. Tickets are $100 MX and are available at Casa El Nigromante. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the evening are being donated to Casa El Nigromante and Mujeres en Cambio, our nonprofit partners. We also thank Camie Fenton and Insiders' News for sponsoring this event.
