Join the Jewish Literary Circle for a discussion of As A Jew: Reclaiming Our Story From Those Who Blame, Shame, and Try to Erase Us by Sarah Hurwitz, facilitated by Kayla Fine.

The Jewish Literary Circle meets on the first Thursday of each month and welcomes readers interested in books of Jewish relevance and perspective. Whether you attend regularly, occasionally, or just when a particular book catches your eye, you are welcome to join this warm, inclusive community of readers.

Meetings are held both in-person and on Zoom. Please email shalomsanmiguel@gmail.org to confirm attendance and receive Zoom credentials.

Reading the book in advance is encouraged, but all are welcome, even if you haven’t finished it. In-person attendees are invited to bring a dish, snack, dessert, or beverage to share. We begin with socializing before starting the discussion at 2:30pm.
