Advent is a time of awakening and reflection on hope, peace, love, and joy as we await renewed wisdom in our world. Mary Jane Miller offers three Monday presentations exploring the many aspects of Mary, the Mother of Jesus — who she is, how her image has evolved through history and theology, and where she might be found today.
Miller’s presentations combine insight, humor, and spiritual depth. For over three decades, her approach to sacred art has revealed that love is the way, the light, and the truth. The images she presents of Mary are both ancient and contemporary, revealing the universal and eternal aspects of motherhood and divine compassion.
Join us on December 1, 8, and 15 at St. Paul’s Church, Calle Cardo. The lectures are free, with voluntary donations welcome.

El Adviento es un tiempo de despertar y reflexión sobre la esperanza, la paz, el amor y la alegría, mientras aguardamos más sabiduría en nuestro mundo. Mary Jane Miller ofrecerá tres presentaciones los lunes sobre los muchos aspectos de María, la Madre de Jesús — quién es, cómo ha evolucionado su imagen a lo largo de la historia y la teología, y dónde podemos encontrarla hoy.
