Miguel Ángel Omaña returns to the Sala Quetzal with a concert dedicated to the richness and diversity of the Latin American guitar.
This program celebrates the identity, rhythm, and poetic sound of a tradition deeply rooted in the musical history of the continent.
The repertoire includes works by Antonio Lauro, Agustín Barrios, Manuel M. Ponce, and Heitor Villa-Lobos, composers who transformed the guitar into a vehicle for intimate and universal expression. Their music evokes landscapes, folk songs, and a sensitivity that speaks directly to the listener’s emotions.
In this concert, Omaña also presents a new sound proposal, incorporating effects in an organic and respectful way, expanding the expressive horizon of the classical guitar without altering its delicate nature.

Miguel Omaña presenta Emociones de Latinoamérica. Miguel Ángel Omaña regresa a la Sala Quetzal de la Biblioteca con un concierto dedicado a la riqueza y diversidad de la guitarra latinoamericana.
Este programa celebra la identidad, el ritmo y la poesía sonora de una tradición profundamente arraigada en la historia musical del continente.
El repertorio incluye obras de Antonio Lauro, Agustín Barrios, Manuel M. Ponce y Heitor Villa-Lobos, compositores que transformaron la guitarra en un vehículo de expresión íntima y universal. Sus músicas evocan paisajes, cantos populares y una sensibilidad que dialoga directamente con la emoción del oyente.
En este concierto, Omaña presenta también una nueva propuesta de sonido, incorporando efectos de manera orgánica y respetuosa, ampliando el horizonte expresivo de la guitarra clásica sin alterar su delicada naturaleza.
