Piano and Six Strings by Ricardo Salinas. Music for piano transcends borders when it is reinterpreted in transcriptions for other instruments and even in orchestral versions. The guitar is no exception, offering magnificent adaptations of masterpieces, to which it imparts new sounds, textures, and colors, making them almost its own. Maestro Salinas presents a program that encompasses classics by Scarlatti, Bach, Mozart, Chopin, and Beethoven, as well as the Spanish nationalism of Granados and Albéniz, and the magical journey of impressionism by Debussy and Satie.
