Poetry Night at Café Rama” on Wednesday April 24 is a very rare and special poetry reading by acclaimed poet and author Jennifer Clement.

Jennifer Clement is the author of “Prayers for the Stolen,” “Gun Love,” “Widow Basquiat,” and more. Her "New and Selected Poems" will be available for sale.

Jennifer is former president of PEN International – the first woman to hold this honor – and she is the host and co-founder of the annual Poetry Week, a longstanding event in San Miguel de Allende.

Following a meet-and-greet with the music of pianist Carolyn Studer and bassist Sergio Carillo Silva, Jennifer will be reading her exquisite poetry. Poet Catherine Marenghi will then lead a Q&A with the poet.

Jennifer’s book “New and Selected Poems” will be available for sale after the event. Reservations are suggested by calling 415-154-9655. Ask for Winter.
