The Reveron Piano Trio will perform at St. Paul’s Church on Friday and Saturday, January 24 and 26, at 5 pm. Friday’s program features works by Rachmaninoff, Beethoven, and Brahms. On Sunday, the program includes works by Joaquín Turina, Mozart, Rachmaninoff and Fanny Mendelssohn.
The Trio comprises three highly accomplished Venezuelan musicians: pianist Ana Karina Alamo, violinist Simón Gollo, and cellist Horacio Contreras. Ana María Otamendi made her debut at age twelve and has performed as a soloist, collaborative pianist and conductor with renowned orchestras and at important venues such as Chicago Symphony Hall, Salzburg Domesaal and the Teatro Arcimboldi (Milano). She is Associate Professor of Collaborative Piano at Louisiana State University and Artistic Director of the Collaborative Piano Institute.
