A special tour for a cause to Santtüary – Sculpture, Agricultural, Cultural and Entertainment Park.
Twenty years ago a man had a vision — to create a sanctuary for art and nature filled with sculpture, paintings, lakes, magueys and donkeys (soon to be on the endangered species list).
Now realized, this visionary 50-hectare ranch just minutes from the Centro is finally open to the public — featuring thousands of magueys, two small lakes, 100 free range donkeys, and an untold number of sculptures plus a private museum filled with hundreds of paintings and a pre-Columbian collection. The museum structure itself is a marvel.
We will wander at our leisure and after touring the museum have tequila, mezcal and burritos.
This will surely be your favorite Wednesday in January!

Un recorrido especial a beneficio de la Biblioteca hacia Santtüary – Parque Escultórico, Agrícola, Cultural y Recreativo.
Hace veinte años, un hombre tuvo una visión: crear un "santuario" para el arte y la naturaleza, lleno de esculturas, pinturas, lagos, magueyes y burros (pronto en la lista de especies en peligro de extinción).
Hoy, esa visión se ha hecho realidad en este rancho de 50 hectáreas, a pocos minutos del Centro, que está finalmente abierto al público. Cuenta con miles de magueyes, dos pequeños lagos, 100 burros en libertad y una cantidad incalculable de esculturas, además de un museo privado lleno de cientos de pinturas y una colección precolombina. La estructura del museo en sí misma es una maravilla.
Recorreremos el espacio con tranquilidad y, después de visitar el museo, disfrutaremos de tequila, mezcal y burritos.
¡Seguramente será tu miércoles favorito de enero!
