It was, as usual, the gayest of gatherings: celebrants, colors, visiting artists, construction materials, the last works of the master... Anado gave us all permission to let our freak flag fly.

It's hard to believe he's gone, but last Saturday's event, the Grand Re-opening of the Chapel of Jimmy Ray, proves, in some essential way, that he's not.

Those of us who knew Anado, up close or from afar, those of us who miss him, could not help but be comforted and inspired... as always.
