I started with watercolor in 1996 and in the year 2000 I started a career in biological sciences. Since then I have been working on the fusion of art and science: Scientific Illustration.
She worked in pharmaceutical laboratories, parasitology laboratories, illustrated theses, books and magazines, and held collective and individual exhibitions as well as in classes in Mexico and the USA. I paint all kinds of living organisms, microorganisms and macromolecules.

Inicié con la acuarela en 1996 y en el año 2000 empecé la carrera de ciencias biológicas. Desde entonces trabajo en la fusión de arte y ciencia: Ilustración Científica.
He trabajado en laboratorios farmacéuticos, laboratorios de parasitología, he ilustrado tesis, libros y revistas, y he participado en exposiciones colectivas e individuales así como en clases en México y USA. Pinto toda clase de organismos vivos, microorganismos y macromoléculas.

Painting makes me feel alive - experiencing life through colour, shape and pattern. I became an abstract expressionist painter as my means of communicating.. telling my life stories through the lens of colour. I paint using pure intuition, learning and solving mysteries. Organically, I began sharing my passion with others. I believe that we are all born to create. Through creative risk we discover the profound direct power of who we are as human beings. My mission is dedicated to inspire others to unlock the inherent creative force that lies within, to experience moments of infinite possibilities that can expand into all facets of living. Having painted and exhibited her work across Canada since 1986, Catherine currently teaches courses and workshops at Instituto Allende, and classes at her studio, designs mural commissions, and Live Painting Performance.

Pintar me hace sentir vivo, experimentar la vida a través del color, la forma y el patrón. Me convertí en un pintor expresionista abstracto como mi medio de comunicación... contando las historias de mi vida a través del lente del color. Pinto usando pura intuición, aprendiendo y resolviendo misterios. Orgánicamente, comencé a compartir mi pasión con los demás. Creo que todos nacemos para crear. A través del riesgo creativo descubrimos el profundo poder directo de quienes somos como seres humanos. Mi misión está dedicada a inspirar a otros a desbloquear la fuerza creativa inherente que se encuentra dentro, para experimentar momentos de infinitas posibilidades que pueden expandirse en todas las facetas de la vida.
