Sinuhé Villegas is the first to admit his obsession with the masters, from Rembrandt to Velasquez, Goya to Degas and Picasso to Pollock. Their influence may not initially be obvious, however their inspirations are cornerstones to Sinuhe's provocative self portraits. His works explore inner demons and personal struggles. Sinuhé's brush strokes might easily be mistaken for wild and erratic smears, but each is meticulously driven and ultimately illuminate his triumphant will to survive.
