Born in Autlán de La Grana, México, Carlos, better known as Moralesca, is an artist who works through mixed media, using charcoal, colored pencils, and acrylic paint, almost always on paper. Carlos mainly seeks to move the viewer's ideas with his works to a broader and deeper universe about masculinity, femininity, the impermanence of the body, and to somehow dismantle learned and assumed conceptions. He shapes the composition of his works through the use of intense colors and expressive looks, to connect in a more personal way with the viewer.

In 2020 he began drawing with the master Juan Carlos Macías in Guadalajara, attending live model sessions with a live model, time in which he was also invited to participate in his first collective exhibition.
Moving to San Miguel de Allende was a decisive factor in Carlos' life as an artist, since today he exhibits at Fábrica La Aurora Centro de Arte y Diseño, where he lives with other artists who awakened in him the desire to dedicate himself completely to art.
Currently, he is also exploring oil painting and ceramic sculpture as part of his multidisciplinary work.
