You're invited to join us for the upcoming opening of a remarkable, colorful exhibition featuring internationally recognized artist Bé Aaronson.
Lavinia and Bé share a creative relationship that has grown over many years. Their mutual respect and artistic connection make this exhibition especially meaningful.
Lavinia recently visited Bé's studio to capture her at work—an intimate glimpse into the artist's process.
This show is more than a presentation; it's a personal offering from one artist to another, and now, to you.
Born in Paris in 1956, Béa Aaronson is a self-taught multimedia artist whose oeuvre spans painting, sculpture, welding, collage, and photography.
Her academic achievements include an Honors degree in History of Art, an MA in French Literature, and a PhD in Philosophy and Comparative Literature.
Aaronson's works have graced prestigious venues worldwide, including the FIAC in Paris and Strasbourg, the National Gallery of Art in Cape Town, and The Gibbes Museum in Charleston.
Aaronson's art is a testament to her multifaceted identity, seamlessly blending elements of Dada, Surrealism, Expressionism, and Constructivism.
Her creations are as diverse as they are authentic, encompassing photographs, watercolors, oils, acrylics, drawings, collages, assemblages, and sculptures crafted from materials such as bronze, wood, clay, welded metal, and found objects.
As Aaronson herself articulates, "It feels as if 50 different artists live inside of me! Not easy to channel! What counts are the images being birthed, following the heartbeat of my plural identity."
This exhibition offers a fun opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of Aaronson's work, experiencing firsthand the quirkiness and expansiveness of her artistic expression. We believe that her compelling pieces will resonate deeply with your discerning appreciation for fine art.
Please mark your calendar for this brilliant event and consider sharing this invitation with fellow art enthusiasts who would appreciate the opportunity to engage with Aaronson's amazing work. We look forward to welcoming you to an evening of art, laughter, and inspiration.
