"A Walk through the Countryside, Free and Not Worried" is a piece I wrote. It is dedicated to Diogenes for his intolerance of vanity, consumerism, and the arrogance of wealth and power.
It features the excellent musicians: Rolando Gotes on guitar, Victor Monterrubio on percussion, Freddy Thompson on saxophone, and me on double bass, guitar, and keyboards, arrangement and recording.

Hopalong's musical career spans over 50 years, the US, South America and Europe. His music has won multiple awards, including First Place at El Festival de la Canción UIA 1972 and the Best Group in Yamaha Fest 1986. He has presented on the national tour of La Hora Nacional and, as the Hopalong Jazz Quintet in the Festival Cervantino.
