Last week I teased that ChatGPT was not monolithic. This is because the ChatGPT technology, developed by OpenAI, Inc., is licensed for use by many other companies so that they may apply the technology in different ways for both personal and commercial use. The ChatGPT, with which most users have had some acquaintance, could accurately be called a generic chatbot because it does not have any specific focus of subject matter. Many different software companies have found innovative and specialized ways to use ChatGPT; so this week I am going to list just a few of them I find to be interesting.

Understand that it can cost millions to create a specialized program using ChatGPT, to create the specialized Large Language Model databases needed to make it function, and to train it. It should therefore come as no surprise to find that almost all the following require paid subscriptions costing a few dollars a month up to hundreds or more per year.

TattoosAI is a tool that designs body art taking into account elements like size, location, your body type, etc. FashionAI and Wardrobe-AI are intelligent clothing and fashion knowledge platforms to provide personalized fashion recommendations that complement your own sense of style. Either one of these fashion AI sites should be able to cover up any bad advice you received from the aforementioned TattoosAI.

Excuses.AI is a cutting-edge AI program that claims to be able to generate compelling, believable, and effective justifications for most circumstances where a well-written excuse is needed to attempt explaining away some fiasco.
ResumeCheck.net uses AI to assist job seekers in improving and optimizing their resumes. It can produce polished resumes that make a positive impression on prospective employers and raise the chances of getting a job interview. This one might help if the abovementioned Excuses.AI did not work out for you.

AiLawyer.pro is a legal assistant that uses AI algorithms to study and analyze legal papers, suggest changes, and help with the wording of legal documents. You can try it for free, but it is still not licensed to practice law in any state.

Photor.io uses AI to edit photos. Now anyone can enhance colors, lighting, and image quality as well as do complicated retouching to produce beautiful custom-made images.

Explainpaper.com advertises it is able to take difficult-to-read papers and scientific publications, then break down complicated topics into easily comprehensible material more easily understood by laypeople. For all the readers who tell me " I enjoyed reading your column, but I didn’t understand a word of it" the explainpaper.com web site might be for you, and it is free for individuals to try.

The retail marketing sector has implemented AI on many online-shopping web sites. While looking for gift-giving advice in a chat with an AI Santa Claus he was quoted as saying " We rely on teamwork and magic at the North Pole, the industry will benefit from collaboration, technology and a sprinkle of creativity, and above all, spreading a little kindness and holiday cheer can make a world of difference."
