"In a Poem" is a beautiful and poetic song by my cousin Ricardo Vázquez Chagoyan, who, along with his brother Jorge, introduced me to the wonderful world of music. The arrangement and production are by Hopalong, as are the fretless bass and guitar, and features featured vocals by Rafael Lerma, violin by Daniel Aguascalientes, and 12-string guitar by Rolando Gotes.

Hopalong's musical career spans over 50 years, the US, South America and Europe. His music has won multiple awards, including First Place at El Festival de la Canción UIA 1972 and the Best Group in Yamaha Fest 1986. He has presented on the national tour of La Hora Nacional and, as the Hopalong Jazz Quintet in the Festival Cervantino.
